France, Port Grimaud 1991

1991 was a first for us, it was our first holiday away on our own, the first trip on our own without the kids. We went by coach again but to the south of France this time, with Siesta Holidays.

We were in apartment on the outskirts of Port Grimaud, which is a purpose built marina, made to look old and resembling Venice.

The main Siesta Holidays site was on a very big campsite just outside the walls of Port Grimaud and there were some very good beaches all around this area.

We had days out in Sainte-Maxime, Monte Carlo, Grimaud Village and a couple of trips to Saint-Tropez, which was just next to Port Grimaud.
