Yugoslavia (Croatia), Lanterna (apartment) 1988

Liked it so much last year, we went back but this time we flew from Newcastle instead of going by coach and we stayed in an apartment, a lot better than the caravans. Very similar holiday to last year, Me, Dot, Ralph, and Nicole, it did cost a lot more than last year though but took a lot less time getting there and back.

We were joined latter the first week by my mates Dave and Clare along with their little one Jamie, Dave's sister Sue and her first husband Norman also came. They all stopped on one of the hotels in the complex.

Right at the end of the holiday towards the end of the second week, our Mick and Brenda arrived by bus, the same as we did the year before. Mick and Brenda were staying in the caravans that we used the previous year.

The apartment was much closer to the nightlife than we had been last year, so we had a few good nights out.

As last year we had visits to Porec and Rovinj but also had a much longer all day trip to lake Bled and liked it so much, we planned on coming back next year.
